My journey started when I was a young girl and I had a real love for food. I grew up visiting my grandmother and watching her cook amazing homemade food. This is how I discovered that being creative with homemade food was something I was incredibly passionate about. To cook and eat of course!
Over the years my passion grew and I was experimenting in the kitchen more and more. I have always been determined to be creative so I decided to study to be a chef at City College Norwich, where I could expand my knowledge and gain as much experience as possible. I studied here for 3 years and towards the end of my course I realised that I had a never-ending passion for pastries and baked goods.
Once I became fully qualified I knew I needed to gain confidence and experience as my goal was to set up my own little bakery one day. So for the next few years I worked in a bakery next to some incredibly talented and passionate bakers. Then I did exactly what I had set out to do and set up Cardarelli’s Cakery.
